Lookout bulletin issued vs. suspected Korean-American drug supplier Jun No

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered Bureau of Immigration (BI) personnel to report to authorities any attempt of suspected Korean-American drug supplier Jun No to leave the country.

Aguirre issued the lookout bulletin on April 18 or three days after No escaped from hospital detention after undergoing an operation for acute appendicitis.

The order specifically ordered BI personnel to report information about No's whereabouts to the Office of the Secretary of Justice, the Office of the Prosecutor General, and the Philippine National Police.

BI records show No's final travel record was his arrival in the Philippines on September 11, 2014 at the Mactan International Airport (MCIA).

No's last recorded departure was on September 6, 2014, also at the Mactan airport.

No, who carries the aliases Justine and Jazz, is facing drug trading charges for selling 140 tablets of ecstasy in an entrapment operation at the parking lot of an Indian restaurant in Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City on April 5.

On April 15, No escaped from the East Avenue Medical Center in Quezon City, where he was confined after undergoing an operation.

Charges have already been filed against the companion and two police personnel guarding the American-Korean drug suspect.

SPO2 Michael Macarubbo of the PNP-DEG and Intelligence Officer 2 Ernie Eugenio of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency are now facing charges for evasion through negligence.

Police said Macarubbo went out to eat breakfast while Eugenio fell asleep.

Darleen "Soeyang" Son, meanwhile, was charged with obstruction of justice as she allegedly gave P3,000 to No, which police said was used for the latter’s escape. — Virgil Lopez/RSJ, GMA News
