Second blast hits Quiapo; bomb squad member hurt


A member of the Manila police's bomb squad was hurt in a second explosion in Quiapo, Manila on Saturday night.

The second explosion took place at past 8:30 p.m., right after National Capital Region Police Officer chief Director Oscar Albayalde briefed members of the media about the first explosion, which killed two persons and injured four others.

Radio dzBB's Olan Bola said one member of the police's bomb squad was seen bleeding, near the blast site.

Bola's initial report said Albayalde and other members of the media were unhurt. —ALG, GMA News
