Masked suspects seize, shoot to death 15-year-old QC youth

Around a half-dozen masked gunmen seized and killed a 15-year-old boy in front of his Barangay Payatas, Quezon City home early Monday morning, GMA 7 morning news program "Unang Balita" reported.

Victim James Matela was having drinks outside his home, then went to a store for a purchase.

The gunmen then appeared and started roughing-up the merry-makers.

Matela returned, and after he saw was what was going on, he ducked into his home.

The gunmen chased Matela into his house, struck his mother several times, then dragged the youth out of the home and shot him multiple times.

Several .45 caliber and 9 millimeter casings were recovered form the crime scene.

Police investigators are attempting to learn the motive for the killing and the identities of the suspects. — DVM, GMA News
