'Carmageddon' hits Metro Manila on rainy 'Payday Friday'
Thousands of Metro Manila commuters and motorists were caught in the "Payday Friday" traffic aggravated by heavy rains.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said parts of EDSA were flooded during the rush hour on Friday, which contributed to the gridlock that plagued the capital region.
