Group chat presented in Senate shows Aegis fratmen’s plans after Atio’s death

Alumni and resident members of the Aegis Juris Fraternity were alarmed after learning that something went terribly wrong during the initiation rites that weekend, apparently leaked chat exchanges showed.

Presented by Senator Joel Villanueva during the hearing on Wednesday of the Senate inquiry into the fatal hazing of University of Santo Tomas law student Horacio "Atio" Castillo III, the exchanges seemed to indicate plans to "clean" the venue of evidence and to deal with Castillo's parents so they would keep quiet.
