Bus catches fire on SLEX-Alabang viaduct

A bus went up in flames on Tuesday morning at the South Luzon Expressway-Alabang Viaduct southbound.

Firefighters were still trying to put out the fire as of posting time, Barbara Aragon, SLEX spokesperson, said in an interview on Super Radyo dzBB.

The JAC Liner bus caught fire past 10 a.m. Tuesday in front of the Asian Hospital, she said.

No details were available yet as to the cause of the fire.

There were no reports of injuries yet.

Motorists may expect the backlog of the traffic to reach Sucat, Aragon said. —KG, GMA News
