Free rides for MRT3 commuters on Rizal Day

Commuters taking the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) may get a free ride at certain hours of Saturday, December 30, 2017, as the nation commemorates the 121st year of national hero Jose Rizal's martyrdom.

The MRT3 management said it will be giving free rides from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

It said that ticket sellers will issue magnetic single journey tickets to all passengers to gain entry via the service gates during the hours of free rides. Passengers will be advised to drop the issued magnetic tickets upon exit.
