Security guard finds man's body dumped in Makati City

Residents found a body of a man with bullet wounds in the head in a barangay in Makati City before dawn Saturday.

A GMA News report indicated that the body of the man, in his 40s, was found by a security guard at a nearby establishment at the corner of Faraday and P. Binay Streets in Barangay San Isidro, Makati City at past 1 a.m.

An initial police investigation showed that the man had a number of bullet wounds in the head and his hands were tied.

Police also recovered empty bullet shells and some slugs near the man's body. 

But residents told the police that they did not hear gunshots around the area where the body was found.

They also said that the man is known in the area as "Alias Sabog," but barangay officials denied the residents' claim, saying that the unidentified man was not from the area.

A security guard guard found the body and reported to the Makati police. The guard also said that the incident is the third in the area since last year.
