Passenger opens doors of moving PNR train

The Philippine National Railways(PNR) is looking into the possibility of banning a passenger who was caught on video forcibly opening the doors of a moving train.

The video, which has since gone viral, shows the passenger getting in between the train’s doors as they closed.

This prevented the doors from completely shutting close.

Then, the passenger then grabbed each of the sliding doors to create some space, and forced them open.

The stunt didn’t cause any apparent damage to the train and the passengers.

A PNR official expressed concern that the stunt could have had fatal consequences.

The PNR has launched an investigation to establish the identity of the passenger.

“Medyo alarming kasi delikado.

The PNR management is also looking into possible security lapses by its personnel.

They will also be investigated,” Geronimo said.

In reply to GMA News’s queries,  the uploader said the video captured just a portion of what had transpired on Sunday, January 4.

“Ginawa nya yun sa lahat ng station na daraanan hanggang sa, ayun , bumaba sya sa Blumentritt station,” the netizen said. —NB, GMA News
