Man carrying 4 guns caught at LRT1's Blumentritt station

A passenger at the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT1) was arrested for bringing firearms at its station in Manila on Tuesday morning.

A Super Radyo dzBB report identified the suspect as Juan Celso of Balut, Tondo, Manila.

The report said Celso was about to enter the Blumentritt Station when the firearms were discovered from him by security guards.

The suspect placed the firearms in a carton box. Also seized where eight loaded magazines.

The report said the man tried to enter the station shortly before 7 a.m.

A complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunitions is being prepared against the suspect, who is currently detained at the Manila Police District Station 7. —ALG, GMA News
