UP Shopping Center catches fire
The UP Shopping Center at the University of the Philippines campus in Diliman caught fire on Thursday morning.

According to a tweet by Super Radyo dzBB's Divine Reyes, the second alarm has already been raised.

In a tweet by netizen Mikko Ringia, half of the Center was seen up in flames while a thick plume of white smoke can be seen emerging from the other half.
YouScooper Jan Jaboneta also sent photos of the fire.
A single firetruck was seen responding to the fire reported past 7:30 a.m.
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) tweeted that the fire reached second alarm as of 7:36 a.m. as the Bureau of Fire Protection attempts to get the fire under control.
It added that a canteen was among the establishments affected.
