Ombudsman prosecutor slay ‘solved,’ QCPD says
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Wednesday said they are already considering as "case solved" the killing of an Ombudsman prosecutor in Quezon City after the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the crime.
In a tweet of Super Radyo dzBB's Glen Juego, the QCPD, however, stressed that the case was not yet closed as they will still investigate if there is a mastermind or there are other persons involved in the killing of 33-year-old Madonna Joy Tanyag.

@dzbb

Tanyag, who was four months pregnant, was allegedly stabbed to death by suspect Angelito Avenido Jr., along Visayas Avenue last Monday.
Avenido, who is facing robbery with homicide case, was arrested during a hot-pursuit operation in Barangay Culiat.
