Work at NCR courts suspended at noon, June 11, 2018


Supreme Court (SC) Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio has directed the half-day suspension of work at all courts in the National Capital Region due to inclement weather.

Court workers at the National Capital Judicial Region were instructed to report for work until only 12 noon on Monday, SC spokesperson Theodore Te said in an advisory.

"For all other courts in other areas, executive judges are given discretion," Te announced.

State weather bureuau PAGASA said early Monday morning that the whole of Luzon would experience moderate to occasional heavy rain due to the southwest mo soon.
