Flooded areas on Tuesday, July 17, 2018


Some areas in Metro Manila were flooded on Tuesday due to heavy rains brought about by the southwest monsoon.

Flooded areas as of past 9 a.m. as noted by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority include:

  • EDSA Taft MRT northbound (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
  • EDSA Aurora Tunnel northbound (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
  • Ortigas La Salle Gate 6 (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
  • Roxas Boulevard southbound (half tire not passable to light vehicles)
  • Quirino Guazon (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
  • Panay Avenue, Quezon City (gutter-deep)
  • Pasong Tamo cor. Kalayaan Avenue, Makati City (gutter-deep)
  • AFP Road, Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City (gutter-deep)
  • Quezon Avenue
  • Biak-na-Bato
  • NEDA, Barangay Tatalon, Victory Avenue
  • Barangay Catmon, Tantiangco, Niugan, Malabon
  • Elliptical Road outside the Quezon City Hall (gutter-deep)
  • Barangay Tatalon Roxas District both bound (waist-deep, not passable to all vehicles)
  • Doña Carmen westbound (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
  • R.Papa, Manila northbound (half-tire, not passable to light vehicles)
  • E.Rodriguez De Los Santos Medical City both bound (knee-deep, not passable to all vehicles)
  • F. Ortigas Street and I.Lopez Street, Barangay New Zaniga (above gutter)
  • Parts of Pedro Cruz going to Hulo, Makati Mandaluyong Bridge, Barangay San Jose (above gutter)
  • Maysilo Circle, Barangay Plainview
  • Nueve de Febrero in front of Suzuki Shaw Showroom
  • McArthur Highway in front of Fatima (tire-deep, not passable to light vehicles)
  • Cubao tunnel Aurora northbound (gutter-deep, passable to all vehicles)
