Ang Kapatiran's Chipeco concedes to Binay

Vice presidential candidate Dominador Chipeco of the Ang Kapatiran Party has conceded to his rival Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay. "I wish to congratulate Mayor Jejomar Binay on his victory," Chipeco said in a text message sent by his party's media officer. "May the principles of good governance continue to guide him in this new challenge," he added. Binay, based on the Commission on Elections' partial tally, is ahead of all his seven rivals with an accumlalted 12,028,712 votes.
