Maynilad: Parts of Pasay to go waterless Jan 11-12

Some areas in Pasay City will go without water on Tuesday and Wednesday next week as water concessionaire Maynilad Water upgrades its pipe network there. In an advisory, Maynilad said the upgrade work in Pasay City will start at 10 p.m. of Jan. 11 and end at 10 a.m. of Jan. 12. The work will involve the replacement of a 400-mm butterfly valve and the closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of its 600-mm main line at Arnaiz corner Tramo Streets in Pasay City. Areas affected by the work will include:

  • Part of Barangay Sta. Clara (Bounded by Protacio St., Taft Ave., Arnaiz Ave., and Tripa de Gallina creek).
  • Whole of Barangay San Roque (Bounded by EDSA, Taft Ave., Protacio St., and Tripa De Gallina creek).
  • Part of Barangay San Rafael (Bounded by EDSA, Park Ave., Arnaiz Ave., and Taft Ave.). Maynilad advised customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the water service interruption. It added affected customers may call the Maynilad Hotline 1626 for updates and additional information. — RSJ, GMANews.TV
