Concessionaire Manila Water said on Tuesday services may be interrupted in three areas this week — Pasig City in eastern Metro Manila, and Taytay and San Mateo in Rizal province. In an advisory on its website, Manila Water said the service interruptions may occur between Wednesday and Friday this week. East Zone customers residing in the following areas will briefly experience water service interruption when Manila Water conducts the following:
installation of pressure regulating valve and hydrant along Gen. Luna St., Ampid 2, San Mateo; pipe-laying along Kenneth Road, Pinagbuhatan, Pasig; and flow rate and step test along San Francisco Village, Muzon, Taytay. Manila Water said the interruption will occur in the following areas during the following dates: Pasig City 11:00 p.m. of Wednesday (October 26) to 4:00 a.m. of Thursday (October 27); Affected areas: Kalayaan, Ipil-Ipil, Apitong, QuizonPatok, Cebu and Asilo (along Kenneth Avenue) Taytay, Rizal 12:01 to 3:01 a.m. of Friday (October 28)' Affected area: Barangay Muzon San Mateo, Rizal: 10:00 p.m. Thursday (October 27) to 3:00 a.m. of Friday (October 28) Affected areas Barangay Ampid 2 and Barangay Sta Ana.
