Maynilad: Parts of NCR, Cavite to go waterless Tuesday, Wednesday


Parts of southern Metro Manila and Coastal Road in Bacoor, Cavite may go waterless Tuesday night until Wednesday morning due to pipe upgrade work by water concessionaire Maynilad Water. In an advisory, Maynilad said the “service improvement project" is scheduled from 10 p.m. Tuesday until 8 a.m. Wednesday, and interrupt water services in the affected areas. Maynilad said it plans to replace a valve in its Pasay Pumping Station along Kapitan Ambo corner F.B. Harrison Street in Pasay City and conduct leak repair activities along Coastal Road in Bacoor, Cavite. "These activities are expected to benefit Maynilad customers, specifically to improve water pressure in parts of Cavite, Pasay, Parañaque and Las Piñas, aside from efficiently managing the water supply in the West Zone," it said. Water services may be interrupted in Pasay, Parañaque and Las Piñas Cities in Metro Manila; and Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, and Noveleta in Cavite:

  • Pasay City: V. Sotto, G. Puyat Ext., Roxas Boulevard, Arnaiz, Taft Avenue, FB Harrison, Jalandoni St., Roberts, Williams, A. Mateo, Col. Doro, Lucban, Dancel, A. Luna, Mabolo, Propetarius, Villaruel, 5 de Junio, Sta. Maynilad advised customers in these areas to store enough water for the duration of the service improvement project.
