Bad weather conditions involving heavy rain forced the cancellation of more domestic flights involving points in Luzon and Visayas Friday morning. The canceled flights included at least two Air Philippines flights and eight Cebu Pacific flights, radio dzBB's Sam Nielsen reported. Citing information from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport as of 10:15 a.m., the dzBB report said the canceled flights included:

- two Air Philippines flights - eight Cebu Pacific flights

Earlier, a Cebu Pacific 892 between Caticlan and Manila was canceled also due to bad weather. Flash floods, landslides The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the active low-pressure area (ALPA) off Luzon and the southwest monsoon may cause flash floods and landslides in Luzon and Visayas. In its 10:30 a.m. advisory, PAGASA said the ALPA was estimated at 330 km east of Tuguegarao as of 8 a.m. "This weather disturbance and the southwest monsoon will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to widespread rain and thunderstorms in Luzon and Visayas which may trigger flashfloods and landslides," it said. — LBG, GMA News
