DOTC: 2 PAL express flights between Manila and Catarman canceled

At least two flights of Philippine Airlines (PAL) Express were canceled Friday, the Department of Transportation and Communications said.

In a post on its Twitter account, the DOTC said the affected flights were between Manila and Catarman in Northern Samar province.

Canceled as of 10:45 a.m. were flights 2P-029 (Manila to Catarman) and 2P-030 (Catarman to Manila).

The DOTC did not specify the reason for the flight cancellations.

Earlier, state weather forecasters said rain may fall on parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA's 5 a.m. bulletin had indicated Mimaropa region [Mindoro (Oriental, Occidental), Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan], Western Visayas and Mindanao may have cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms. — LBG, GMA News
