IN PHOTOS: Tropical Storm Mario floods parts of Luzon

Metro Manila and some parts of Luzon woke up to heavy rainfall on Friday morning as Tropical Storm Mario (Fung-Wong) made landfall in Cagayan.  

 

Although no public storm signal was issued over NCR, several areas in Metro Manila were flooded due to the weather disturbance as Mario intensified the southwest monsoon. Many roads were impassable as floodwaters reached as high as the second floor in some areas.
