After lunch with calamity survivors, Pope boards Popemobile

After an early lunch with survivors of recent calamities at the Archbishop's Residence in Palo town in Leyte, Pope Francis again boarded his Popemobile shortly after noon Saturday.

The Popemobile got moving anew at about 12:08 p.m., GMA's News TV Live reported.

Earlier, Metro Manila police chief Director Carmelo Valmoria said the Pope's stay in Leyte would be shortened due to bad weather conditions from Tropical Storm Amang.

He was scheduled to leave Tacloban at 1 p.m. and return to Metro Manila at 2 p.m. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
