2 dead, 2 hurt in brazen Makati shooting

(Updated 2:20 p.m.) At least two people were killed while two others were wounded in a brazen shooting incident in Makati City past noon Wednesday. According to eye witnesses, the driver of an Isuzu D-max was instantly killed when suspects opened fire on his vehicle in the middle of the Gil Puyat-Makati Avenue intersection. While a bystander who was earlier rushed to a hospital after being hit in the shooting also succumbed to gunshot wounds while undergoing treatment, radio dzBB reported. The two other victims who were onboard the target vehicle with plate no. ZHB-908 are still being treated in an undisclosed hospital. Authorities have yet to identify the casualties as of this posting. Witnesses said three gunmen opened fire at the victims’ vehicle with plate no.
