Duterte summons Faeldon to Palace amid P6.4-B shabu mess

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday has summoned Bureau of Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon to Malacañang even as a house committee hearing probes the shipment of  P6.4 billion worth of shabu from China.

Surigao del Norte Second District Representative Robert Ace Barbers announced the move during the hearing:

"I just want to inform the honorable members of the committee that the President has called for Commissioner Faeldon at 4 p.m. today in Malacanang. So we will allow him to leave and we will allow him to see the President today."

A Malañang official also confirmed the meeting and added that Faeldon would be joined by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez. —NB/KVD, GMA News
