Paolo Duterte ‘bastos’ like his dad, says Trillanes

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Monday hit back at Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte over the latter’s “rude” social media remarks.

On Facebook, Paolo, son of President Rodrigo Duterte, lashed out at Trillanes, referring to him as “Senator Ugok.”

The younger Duterte posted Trillanes’ photo alongside a collage of pictures showing members of the Liberal Party (LP) with Kenneth Dong, the alleged middleman in the P6.4-billion shabu shipment smuggled from China.

The senator said Paolo should instead prepare how to answer allegations that he is involved in the shipment of P6.4 billion worth of shabu into the country.

Senator Panfilo Lacson said Paolo might be invited to the Blue Ribbon committee probe into the shabu shipment, but there is no basis to summon him yet.

“Pwede rin tanungin kung i-elaborate ni Mark Taguba at kung may personal transaction directly with Paolo or whoever close to Paolo, pwede tanungin yan,” Lacson said.

Mark Taguba, who earlier testified that he bribed several officials for the shipment, mentioned Paolo's name in a House committee hearing.
