RAM, which played a role in the 1986 People Power Revolution, is a group of officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines that broke away from the leadership of then-President Ferdinand Marcos.
The group was also behind the August 28, 1987 failed military uprising during the administration of Marcos' successor, the late President Corazon Aquino.
Meanwhile, Honasan, a member of RAM, was charged last week with two counts of graft for the alleged misuse of P30 million of his Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) or pork barrel following his arrest.
