Witnesses in Kian’s killing receiving death threats —NBI

People claiming to have witnessed the killing of 17-year-old Kian Loyd delos Santos have started to receive death threats, officials of the National Bureau of Investigation have said.

According to Mariz Umali's report on "Balitanghali," NBI investigators who were conducting their probe at the crime scene in Barangay 120, Caloocan City, were having difficulty in collecting more testimonies evidence in the killing of the 11th grader.

Witnesses, who reportedly received "death threats," have reportedly denied giving further statements.

Kian's family also withheld their testimonies  without first consulting with the Public Attorney's Office (PAO), who were serving as their legal counsel in filing murder charges against the police. —Claire Layug/NB, GMA News
