'ITO 'YUNG GAGO'

Duterte offers P5-M bounty for Ardot Parojinog

President Rodrigo Duterte is offering a P5-million bounty for the arrest of Ozamiz City Councilor Ricardo "Ardot" Parojinog, brother of Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr. who was killed along with 15 others in a police raid on July 30.

Speaking at the 11th founding anniversary celebration of the Eastern Mindanao Command in Davao City on Friday, Duterte linked the Parojinog family to the disappearance of four policemen. He said the body of one of them was found recently.

"Iyong isa nakita na doon sa nahukay. [Through] DNA testing, it was confirmed that’s one of the missing policemen," he said.

"Kaya itong si Ardot... ito 'yung gago. Place him in your arrow," Duterte told the soldiers. "I am increasing the money, the reward money on his head, by P5 million."

Duterte even urged the soldiers to go to the mountains and hunt for Ardot when they’re off duty. He also said he would pardon Ardot Parojinog's accomplices who could neutralize the councilor.

"P5 million, totoo. I do not care if he's really a complicit of Ardot. Kung kasama niya, dadalhin niya iyong ulo, absuwelto ko na siya," Duterte said.

Ardot Parojinog was included in the most wanted posters put up in Ozamiz City by a group of concerned citizens.
The Department of Justice has also placed him under the immigration lookout bulletin.

Duterte has previously offered a P2-million bounty for the arrest of every policemen involved in the alleged killings conducted by the Parojinog family.

"Don't fear Ardot"

Duterte also revealed that one of the police officers in Ozamiz City did not want Chief Inspector Jovie Espenido to leave because of fear of Ardot Parojinog.

"Tapos iyong isang opisyal and I was really downhearted to—na ayaw nila umalis si Espenido dahil baka balikan daw sila ni Ardot. Sabi ko, ‘Anak ng jueteng ka. Anong klaseng mga pulis ito?’” he said.

Duterte said policemen and soldiers should fear no one as getting killed in the line of duty was part of the job.
