PAO forensic expert: Cadaver from Gapan is circumcised, with ‘overgrowth’

The Public Attorney's Office on Tuesday maintained that the body retrieved from a creek in Gapan, Nueva Ecija was indeed circumcised and that of 14-year-old Reynaldo "Kulot" De Guzman.

Erfe said the examination earlier referred to by the Philippine National Police had overlooked these indications.

The PNP earlier said that the family should return the body to Gapan for investigation because the supposed lack of circumcision supported the results of the DNA testing by the PNP Crime Laboratory, which indicated that the the cadaver was not the "biological offspring" of De Guzman's parents.

The police also said De Guzman's brother commented that the body was uncircumcised, while Kulot was circumcised.

"The brother is not an expert on cadavers," she added. — BM, GMA News
