Security forces in Marawi ready to undergo urban warfare training
Security forces who battled to liberate Marawi City are willing and ready to undergo training, especially in urban warfare against terrorist groups in the country.
Quoting officials from the Joint Task Force Ranao, dzBB's Benjie Liwanag reporting from Marawi said that government troops, with their experience in urban warfare as they battled for five months in the city, are ready to undertake more training.

Meanwhile, military authorities are urging security forces to be aggressive in their task to pursue peace and security in Mindanao even after the pro-ISIS terrorists in Marawi City have been defeated.

Last Monday, the military declared Marawi completely free from Maute terrorists, signalling the start of rebuilding and rehabilitation of the war-ravaged city.
But six battalions from joint military and police troops will stay in Marawi for the mopping up operations to clear the city of improvised explosive devices and to secure the rebuilding and rehabilitation activities, dzBB quoted Joint Task Force Ranao deputy commander Lieutenant Colonel Romeo Brawner as saying. —LBG, GMA News
