Uson to Roque: Tell mainstream media to respect netizens’ views

Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Monday defended diehard Duterte supporters or DDS after presidential spokesman Secretary Harry Roque said they should learn the role mainstream media played in exposing wrong doing in government

Ang DDS ay may sariling pag-iisip," Uson said in a text message.

Uson said that both the mainstream media and netizens should learn how to respect each other.

"Galangin natin ng pareho at patas," she added.

Uson also denied that she had been attacking all the media outlets in general.

The statement came after Roque said he would like to talk to Uson and Duterte's online supporters about how the media also helped expose the faults of the previous administration.

Such exposes, Roque said, resulted in Duterte winning the 2016 elections. —NB, GMA News
