Duterte to UN rapporteur Callamard: Kung imbestigahin mo ako, sampalin kita

President Rodrigo Duterte warned United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions Agnes Callamard on Thursday that he would slap her if she will probe the administration's war on drugs.

Duterte said that he would not get a fair investigation from Callamard.

"Ang problema ng human rights, including the United Nations, at saka itong — hindi ko ma-memorize kasi because I hate her. ‘Yung rapporteur, si… ayaw ko nga i-pronounce ang pangalan niya. Basta ako, 'Card,'" he said in a speech before the Filipino community in Vietnam.

"Nagdala siya ng itim, black duktor daw siya na... nagsabi daw siya on TV. You know, sabi niya, use of drugs is harmless. Sabi ko p***** i**** ‘to. Kaya sabi ko kay Callamard, kung imbestigahin mo ako, sampalin kita," he added.

Duterte said these remarks were contrary to a UN report titled "International Narcotics Control Board Precursors and Chemicals Frequently Used in the Illicit Manufacture of Narcotic Drugs and Tropic Substances 2014."

The President said the report warned that methamphetamine or shabu when used "sometimes triggers aggressive, violent and bizaare behavior among users."

"Paano… how can I get a fair hearing if you yourself, who does not even read the publications of your mother organizations, of the United Nations," he said.

Duterte said that if the UN files a case against him he will slap it with its own report.

"Sige, tingnan natin, isampal ko ito sa kanila. Eh mismong study ninyo ayaw ninyong paniwalain tapos ako kulungin ninyo because of extrajudicial killing," he said. —KG, GMA News
