AFTER INT’L SUMMIT

MMDA reopens ASEAN lanes in EDSA, Roxas Boulevard to traffic

All lanes on EDSA and Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City previously put on lockdown due to the recently concluded 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit and Related Meetings have once again been opened to the public.

A report on Balitanghali on Wednesday said that the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) opened the ASEAN lanes after getting a go signal from the ASEAN 2017 Committee on Security, Peace and Order, Emergency Preparedness, and Response.

The road closures were put in place to give way to world leaders coming to or from Manila and Clark, Pampanga by land for the ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.

They were lifted following the departure of the delegates. — Jessica Bartolome/MDM, GMA News
