Fifth day of House panel’s hearing on Sereno impeach complaint

The House justice committee on Tuesday resumed its hearing on the impeachment complaint filed against Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, with Court Administrator Midas Marquez as the primary resource person. Most of the day's discussions, which lasted from morning to late afternoon, dealt with the allegation that Sereno had inordinately delayed the resolution on the petitions for retirement benefits.
