Roque: If you want Duterte at your party, bring it to Malacañang

If President Rodrigo Duterte can't attend your party, maybe you can bring the party to Malacañang.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque on Friday said Duterte didn't want to attend social events outside Malacañang.

Walang taxpayer’s money,” he added.

Roque said this was the case with the recent holding of the baptism of Robin Padilla's daughter and the birthday party of Marinduque Representative Lord Allan Velasco in Malacañang.

He said not a single centavo of taxpayer’s money was spent for any of the family events.

Roque also said there was nothing wrong with the pre-debut photo shoot of Duterte’s granddaughter at Malacañang.

He said Isabelle Duterte was just like any other ordinary Filipino who want to have a photo inside the palace.

“Sa ’kin, wala namang masama doon. Nag-pose lang for birthday pictures yung apo ni Presidente sa Malacañang,” Roque said.

“I don’t think it should be an issue.

—NB, GMA News
