Akbayan Youth to file complaint vs. Mocha Uson for ‘spreading fake news’

Students leaders from Akbayan Youth are set to file an administrative complaint against Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson before the Office of the Ombudsman on Monday.

Akbayan Youth communications officer Justine Balane told GMA News Online that at least 10 students from various schools will file a complaint on gross misconduct against Uson for "spreading disinformation while she is in government."

Balane said student leaders would carry protest signs and coffee cups with pictures of Uson and text saying, #FireMocha.

As of posting time, GMA News Online is trying to get the reaction of Uson regarding the matter.

Uson had claimed she was also a victim of fake news as some news organizations supposedly published wrong information about her. —LBG, GMA News
