Initial sample of PHL national ID card
The Senate on Tuesday ratified and adopted the bicameral conference committee version of the bill seeking to establish a national identification system for the Philippines.
The bill seeks to harmonize, integrate, and interconnect the countless and redundant government IDs, around 33, by establishing a single national identification system to be known as the Philippine Identification System or PhilSys.
A sample of the ID card was posted on Twitter by Super Radyo dzBB's Rowena Salvacion.
