Amid Mocha fight, Kris Aquino mulls 'best' way to give people 'a voice'

Amid her public spat with Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, Kris Aquino on Wednesday mulled over the best course for her to represent people who expressed support over the past day.

In a live online video, Aquino expressed disappointment at Uson's refusal to apologize for posting a video comparing Kris' father, the late Sen. Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr., being kissed to President Rodrigo Duterte's controversial video where he kissed a Filipino worker in South Korea.

"Maybe my voice matters. I have contracts that prevent me from running... contracts that I just signed. But maybe you need a voice," Aquino said.

"I will pray about what is best. Pero baka mas maganda na hindi na ako humingi ng posisyon... para patuloy ninyo akong pakinggan," she added.

Aquino had slammed Uson for the government official's posts taking shots at Ninoy and former president Corazon Aquino, Kris' late mother.

Earlier on Wednesday, Special Assistant to the President Bong Go said Uson would apologize for the incident, adding that he and Duterte had already said sorry to Aquino.

But in a video posted on her Facebook page, Uson refused to apologize, saying the issue was not about Kris Aquino. —JST, GMA News
