Sara Duterte calls Trillanes a coward after solon tries to end word war

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV may have wanted to end the verbal confrontation with Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte but President Rodrigo Duterte's daughter apparently wanted to squeeze in the last word.

In an Instagram post, Sara called Trillanes a coward and a disgrace.

 

May time ka magpresscon pero wala ka na time kapag sinagot ka na. Hindi ako naniniwala dati sa sinasabi nila pero paniwala na ako, you are a coward. I do not know why you became a soldier and a Senator. Such a disgrace.

"May time ka magpresscon pero wala ka na time kapag sinagot ka na. Hindi ako naniniwala dati sa sinasabi nila pero paniwala na ako, you are a coward," Sara said.

"I do not know why you became a soldier and a Senator. Such a disgrace," she added.

Sara included a screengrab of the headline of the GMA News Online article that quoted Trillanes on him not having the time to respond to her earlier reply.

Trillanes started the controversy when he told reporters on Tuesday that Duterte had tapped Sara to run for President in 2022.

Sara responded on Wednesday, saying Trillanes better leave her alone or she would make sure the senator and his allies would spend a billion pesos to make her insignificant in 2022.

Trillanes later in the day said he would no longer respond to Sara, saying he didn't have the time.
