Peter Lim eludes cops serving arrest warrant in Cebu

Police in Cebu City on Monday afternoon served the arrest warrant on alleged drug lord Peter Lim but failed to locate him in his two addresses in the city, according to a report on Super Radyo dzBB by RGMA's Greggy Magdadaro.

The report said members of the Cebu City Police, accompanied by barangay officials, went to Lim's address in a subdivision in Barangay Banilad but did not find him there.

They also did not find Lim in his address in Barangay Mabolo.

Judge Gina Bibat-Palamos of the Makati Regional Trial Court's Branch 65 has ordered Lim's arrest after it determined there is probable cause to hold him, self-confessed drug distributor Kerwin Espinosa, and their other co-accused for trial.

Lim is facing two counts of violation of the drug trade conspiracy provision of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. His arraignment is set for August 28 at 1:30 p.m. —KBK, GMA News
