Trillanes cries injustice but will go with arresting team to post bail

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Tuesday scored the Makati Regional Trial Court's resolution to issue a warrant of arrest and a hold departure order over the cancellation of his amnesty by President Rodrigo Duterte.

Trillanes, nonetheless, said he would go with arresting officers to post bail at the Makati court.

Sasama ako sa arresting team pag merong warrant no matter how unjust that may be. After this diretso na kaming magpopost ng bail," Trillanes said at a press conference.

Trillanes said "democracy lost" when the Makati court sided with Duterte's cancellation of his amnesty in connection with the rebellion case that was dismissed seven years ago due to the said relief.

This case goes behind me. —NB, GMA News
