CLAIMS APPLICATION FORM WITH CALIDA

Stand up for truth, Trillanes calls on DND, AFP

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Wednesday called on the leadership of the Defense Department and the Armed Forces to stand up for truth on the issue of his amnesty.

“Nananawagan ako sa AFP at DND particularly ‘yung J1, alam nila na nag-apply ako, alam nila na may document, alam nila ang katotohanan, alam nila na ang ginagawa sa akin is unjust and they are tolerating it, out of fear,” Trillanes said at a press conference.

Trillanes said even an active military officer testified in his favor that he indeed filed an application and complied with the requirements for amnesty.

APPLICATION FOR WITH CALIDA?

At the same time, Trillanes said he believes his missing application form is with Solicitor General Jose Calida.

The senator said there will come a time that those responsible for his missing application form will be held accountable.

But he clarified that it is not now as the culprit is still in power.

“Darating ang panahon mananagot kung sino man ang nagwala niyan, kumuha pero hindi pa panahon n’yan dito kasi sila pa ang naghahari,” he said. — RSJ, GMA News
