Why the dark spots on Duterte's face? 'Baka karma na rin,' he says

President Rodrigo Duterte feels that that the black spots in his face could be his karma.

The President, in a speech during the Philippine Quality Award Conferment Ceremony, noted that the lingering black spots in his face is making him wary about his appearance.

“Conscious kasi ako sa itim ko na mukha,” the President said when he mumbled the word organization in his prepared speech on Wednesday.

“Matagal na itong sunburn ko. Ewan ko kung bakit. Baka karma na rin,” Duterte said.

In his succeeding speech during the conferment of the National Artist award, the President said he was a bad person and is not sorry for it.

“Masama ugali ko. Killer ako, mas lalo na,” Duterte said in reference to his drug war policy.

The President initially said the black spots on his face are due to sunburn when he paid a visit to Israel and Jordan last month.

He then said last week that it was because he put a little too much of the facial cream of his partner, Honeylet, on himself. —JST, GMA News
