2 die in Pasay fire

MANILA, Philippines – Two people were killed in a fire that hit a 10-door apartment in Pasay City early Friday morning, radio DZBB reported. The fatalities were identified as Rufo Upos, 38, and his nine-year-old child Rodelyn, according to Fire Officer Renato Recto. The report said the two were trapped after the second floor of the burning apartment crashed on the ground floor. The blaze, the radio report said, has reached fourth alarm and swept through several houses on Orion Street near Libertad Street. - GMANews.TV
