10 crew of TV show hurt in road mishap at NLEX


MANILA, Philippines - At least 10 of 13 crewmembers of a television program were injured after their vehicle crashed along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) before dawn Tuesday. Radio dzBB reported that the 10 crew, all working for the program "Joaquin Bordado," were rushed to hospitals in Valenzuela City, and in Bulacan. Transferred to the Orthopedic Hospital was Ronaldo Godoy, while rushed to the Karuhatan Hospital were Demetrio Macaraig, stuntman Danny Bragais, Abnel Severino, Alfredo Manzanares, Steve Esguerra, and Ronnie Santos. Brought to the Monte Clara Montefalco Hospital in Meycauayan were Alvin Tercena, Francisco Minarag, and Rogelio Elgacio. Initial investigation showed the crewmembers were on their way from Subic to Metro Manila when the driver of their L-300 van (TSJ-518) lost control. The van crashed at the southbound lane of NLEX near the Valenzuela exit. No other vehicles were damaged. - GMANews.TV
