Taguig schools to livestream grad rites for Pinoys abroad

With nearly 18,000 students expected to graduate in various public elementary and high schools in Taguig City in the Philippines, city officials decided to launch an "e-graduation" service. In a news release on the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) website, City Mayor Lani Cayetano said: “We are introducing this innovation so that friends and family members who will not be able to join our students during graduation can watch the graduation ceremonies online.”  All graduation ceremonies will be covered, and the schedule may be viewed here. A total of 17,613 students will graduate this year, with 10,756 elementary and 6,857 high school students, the PIA said. The live video streams may be viewed at the Taguig City official website.
