Makati-based Israel Embassy consular section closed March 12–20


The Israeli Embassy in Manila will suspend its consular services from March 12 to 20 as it transfers to a new office shortly before the Holy Week. In posts on its Twitter account, the embassy said: "Please be advised that the Consular section of the Embassy will be suspending services from (March 12 to 20) as we are transferring offices." "The Embassy's date of transfer to the new office will be on 18 March. Consular services will officially resume on 21 March (Thursday)," it added. In an announcement on its website, the embassy also said official notices on the transfer will be sent to government departments and accredited local manpower agencies. The embassy did not provide added information but said those who have further questions may send an email to cao-assistant@manila.mfa.gov.il. The embassy's present location is at the 23rd floor of Trafalgar Plaza at 105 HV dela Costa Street in Salcedo Village, Makati. It is open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, and 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Fridays. Its phone numbers include 8940441 to 43. — LBG, GMA News
