Two killed in truck-bus collision in Negros Occidental

At least two people were reported killed while several were injured after a "Ceres Liner" bus and a truck figured in an accident in Negros Occidental Tuesday afternoon.

 

The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. in Biniquel village in Kabankalan City, according to a report on Radyo Mo Nationwide.

 

While the fatalities were not immediately identified, the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.

 

Initial investigation showed the bus came from Bacolod City and was heading for Kabankalan City while the truck was carrying sugarcane from Kabankalan and was heading for Bacolod. — ELR, GMA News
