Traffic official in Rizal province shot dead

An assistant traffic supervisor of Rodriguez town in Rizal province was shot dead while he was on his way to work early Friday. Police are trying to track down the gunman who killed Rodrigo Corpuz, the town's traffic division assistant supervisor, radio dzBB's Benjie Liwanag Jr. reported. The report said the incident occurred 7:30 a.m. while Corpuz was on his way to work. An initial investigation showed Corpuz was on his motorcycle heading for work. As Corpuz's motorcycle passed by J.P. Rizal highway at 7:30 a.m., the gunman approached and shot him in the face. — LBG, GMA News
