Man sets self on fire at Magellan's Cross shrine in Cebu

A man was rushed to a hospital after sustaining burns all over the body when he allegedly set himself on fire near the Magellan's Cross shrine Cebu City Thursday morning. The man, who was not immediately identified, was in critical condition when he was at the Cebu City Medical Center, according to a report by radio dzBB's Cebu affiliate. An initial investigation showed the man was already on fire when guards at the Basilica Minore de Santo Niño saw him and rushed to his aid.
